However, we have successfully installed this bracket in several cars that have been fitted with CD00X transmissions. There is one stud on the side of the transmission tunnel (circled red in pictures) that will support the HLSS handbrake bracket. If you have had to modify the tunnel in any way, such as hammering for clearance, it may affect the location of this stud and may require you to find another solution. In many cases, you may be able to move the stud back into place enough to re-align with the bracket. The bracket itself may have to be slightly modified, or bent, to re-align with the stud.
